AIM provides a sequential and comprehensive curriculum-related music experience for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Program components include a eries of in-school performances by specially trained ensembles; a music-centered interdisciplinary curriculum; professional development sessions for teachers and principals; supplementary resources for teachers (such as compact discs, books, maps, and instruments); and a workbook journal for each student. The hallmark event is a field trip to Davies Symphony Hall to hear a private concert by the San Francisco Symphony.
